heatwave festival 5: "beach"/"bonfire"

Ardbert's home lay to the west of Kholusia, in the seas lost to the Flood. There, a ceremonial pyre was traditional for a fallen warrior. In the case of a missing body, their weapon or effects would serve in its place.

Nobody had ever told her any of this, but somehow, she knew.
