(oh wait, what is that doing there?? not like I’m trying to recreate that outfit in game or anything. nobody could be THAT camp hehehe.) EDIT: When I was a baby, my favorite uncle taped the MTV “Pleasant Valley Sunday” Monkees weekend and he gave us the tape just as I was old enough to form memories. Being MTV, there were a lot of ads for albums and releases. Barbra’s “Broadway Album” had a full-court-press ad campaign, complete with a music video and TV spot featuring “Somewhere” from West Side Story (Bernstein/Sondheim). Her phrasing here is capital-S, capital-O So Odd, but iconic. My partner HATES it. Me? I can’t help but sing out, karaoke style, whenever I load Pryne and her goofy Thavnairian Wool Autumn Dress.
