Kazuto Riversong made sure to fill 'er up with only the finest grain alcohol...
And maybe saved a nip on the side, but I'm not looking!
But the true fun begins inside the MiniMart!
I think I found that grain alcohol they used to fill my tank!
I should have grabbed a coffee and a pastry from the two on-site restaurants, Sugar Plum Diner and Lalabucks, but there was a line and a bit of a kerfuffle between security and some partially dressed lalafells.
Instead, I gawked at the vintage 1999 iBook laptops for sale. What kind of QuikStop is this?
Either I'm getting sued or they are.
And of course, no truck stop is complete without restrooms, complete with shady vending machines selling unmentionables!
I'm a sucker for public bathrooms in housing builds.
Honestly, I only scratched the surface on this visit, because I'm pretty sure every time I entered gpose, my computer began contemplating self-immolation. I really hope this isn't a one-off event, because I plan on going back on a lighter day and really looking at what makes this build tick!

The Forum Shopping Center - Primal / Excalibur / The Goblet / Ward 29 / Plot 13
It's just...perfect.
The main floor contains four or five businesses, mall security and the elevator to individual shops. Not all of them were open when I arrived late into their public hours, but I was greeted warmly by the proprietor of the fashion boutique and picked up a couple of reasonable-ish priced glamour items; obviously, I could have made them for cheaper, but it's SMALL BUSINESS FRIDAY, OK?
Do not let the relatively empty appearance of the main floor fool you. *slaps hood* This FC can hold SO MUCH CONTENT.
This is just the first fifteen floors. There are a couple more shops Floor 16-30. There used to be a nightclub too, at one point.
They were starting to close up shop when I stopped by, so I mostly explored on my own, UrbEx style. I went to the movies...
I stopped at a sauna to freshen up...
Took selfies at not one, but two photo studios!
Then poked around the cafe on the top floor...
Got transported to a dreamworld of magic...
Of course, no trip to the mall is complete without a trip to the spooky mall bathroom behind security...
That's not fair; their bathrooms aren't spooky. I just remember the ones from my local mall. They were heinous.
After all that, I was spent (and there's a bunch of other venues that I just didn't have time to cover here!)...
I really miss malls. I had hoped I'd be able to go to one again once restrictions were lifted, but my own poor health and geopolitical instability have put the kibosh on that. To be able to experience the wonder of exploring an indoor environment that contains so much variety of color and sound and purpose like this really warms my heart.

Go to The Forum Shopping Mall and leave them lots of love. It's projects like this that make FFXIV and Etheirys such a special place to spend our precious free time.

Even if it's just something short (ie. I'm anxious to run roulettes, I nope out of art parties, I wish I knew how to make gaming friends, I'd like to RP but... etc.).
Let me know where you feel social anxiety or introversion causes you to not do all the things you wish you could do in your online game of choice.

I think the end of Endwalker is so interesting when you consider the story of Zenos being the one that helps WOL stop Endsinger and the Final Days.
If you and/or your WOL likes Zenos (or has positive leaning complicated feelings about him), then it's this really powerful moment where Zenos finally seems to have a breakthrough of understanding enough that he comes to find WOL at the edge of the universe, and upon seeing Endsinger is still alive, helps the WOL defeat her while never for a moment thinking he and WOL could fail to win. Resulting in Etheirys being saved, and the Final Days at last being completely put to rest. A feat even the ancients and acians couldn't fully achieve.
And if you and/or your WOL hates, doesn't care about, or dislikes Zenos, then all of that still happens. Only with the added funny note that the entirety of Etheirys, your friends, family, the world you love, and creation at large was saved at the last minute by the power of unrequited friendship.
Today's place needs a little magic to bring out it's best potential;
