Peace and Quiet

He’d not ever really had a place of his own.

Rennir was always a bit of a vagabond, never really setting down roots -- not even when Ala Mhigo was liberated. He was content to wander, spend nights in a makeshift camp in the woods, or in a room in a tavern if he had the spare coin. A permeant home was not something he really considered. Not until he actually acquired one.

And his first night, soaking in a an open-air bath as the stars hung blinking far above him, he began to see the benefit. He sat there for hours, submerged in hot water, despite the briskness of the air. He felt the aches and pains drain from his muscles, almost as if the water was drawing the lingering malady from his body.

No. Rennir Courage could get used to having a place to call his own. A place where he could retreat from the world -- just for a little bit. Where he could recover. 

And with that thought his eyes closed and he just enjoyed the Peace and Quiet.

Fool’s Luck and Friends

A bit of RP amongst my Free Company and friends on Marilith last night. Great discussions and wonderful people who showed up over the three hours we were at the Bobbing Cork in Fallgourd. Great to interact with wonderful RPers and looking to find more!
