I just think it's very Bri'ish of me to complete TEA.
(ALSO, if *I* - a dyslexic moron - can do it, so can you! Please do not be scared to try Ultimates!)
... are we gonna talk about this guy's battle mitts?
...are they his... mittigation?
Sorry.
I FUCKING DID IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Based on a true story.
I've been known to tunnel vision pretty hard, but this one caught my friends off guard. Only reason I found out there was one was because I messed up the movement right after this happens and my partner/raid caller explained it as "AFTER the tankbuster, you move-"
wouldnt it be sick if in Futures Rewritten Ultimate you have to awaken the primals (kinda like UWU) from Eden's Promise's memory crystals and if you dont then EP uses your party members to as vessel to summon them. and if you do awaken them then in the last phase when youre fighting some crazy Yuri Fusion Oracle of Light and Darkness Prime all the primals come back and do their own captain planet fusion into an overdesigned Eulogia monstrosity that smites the boss. or even your party members summons them as vessels to nuke the boss (because Ultimate LB spam has seen its course I think)
also this would be one last punchline re: the WoL's bad memory because they would be conflating the Primals with the Twelve and their combined form Eulogia
Dancing Mad Ultimate: The Chaos That Defines FFXIV’s Hardest Challenge
There’s hard content in Final Fantasy XIV—and then there’s Ultimate.
With Patch 7.51, Dancing Mad (Ultimate) arrives as the latest—and possibly most brutal—raid in the game. Centered around Kefka, a villain known for chaos and deception, this encounter doesn’t just test skill. It tests patience, memory, and sanity.
A Fight Designed to Break Expectations
Ultimate raids aren’t just harder versions of existing fights. They completely reimagine them.
Dancing Mad Ultimate transforms Kefka’s original encounter into a multi-phase gauntlet filled with:
Fake visual cues
Punishing mechanics
Hidden progression conditions
Everything is designed to mislead you. If you hesitate—or trust the wrong visual—you wipe.
It’s Not About Damage—It’s About Perfection
In most raids, mistakes can be recovered.
Not here.
Ultimate fights demand:
Perfect execution
Total team coordination
Consistency across long encounters
One mistake can end a 15-minute pull instantly. That’s the real pressure.
The Grind Is Real
Clearing an Ultimate raid isn’t something that happens overnight.
Even the best teams spend weeks or months progressing, learning every mechanic, and refining execution.
And just when everything seems perfect—one small error sends you back to the start.
Why Everyone Is Watching
Ultimate raids aren’t just content—they’re events.
The world-first race turns each release into a global spectacle. And with Kefka’s chaotic design, Dancing Mad Ultimate has already become one of the most entertaining to watch, with players getting tricked by mechanics in real time.
Even if you never step into the fight, it’s hard to look away.
Is It Worth It?
For hardcore raiders, absolutely.
For everyone else, it’s still one of the best spectator experiences in FFXIV—full of tension, frustration, and unforgettable moments.

FFXIV Patch 7.5 Job Balance Changes – What It Means for Ultimate Players
With Patch 7.5, Final Fantasy XIV takes a careful approach to job balance—focusing on refinement rather than reinvention. Most jobs receive modest potency increases of around 1%, reinforcing Square Enix’s goal of keeping the current meta stable ahead of the highly anticipated Dancing Mad Ultimate raid.
Among the highlights, Warrior gains small burst damage buffs, slightly improving its performance in raid burst windows. Meanwhile, Samurai receives minor potency increases, though not enough to significantly shift its position in the DPS hierarchy. Across all roles, balance remains exceptionally tight—meaning players can confidently bring their preferred jobs without worrying about viability.
Interestingly, these restrained changes hint at something bigger on the horizon. Patch 7.5 serves as a “stabilization patch,” laying the groundwork for Patch 8.0, which is expected to introduce the new “Evolved Jobs” system—a major combat overhaul not seen in years.
For Ultimate raiders, the takeaway is simple: skill and execution will matter far more than job choice.
