Being a white mage is both easier and harder than being a black mage in FFXIV. Almost complete opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of spell usage, but similar enough that I'm getting the hang of it.

Slowly.

Hello/Update

I haven’t been active because I had been working at my new job. I transferred main Lumomo over onto balmung, I did have to change her last name, so It’s now Lumomo Lomu

FFXIV Update

I have completed Shadowbringers! Ending made me cry. Such phenomenal storytelling across the board.

At level 86, I am finally getting the hang of black mage as a dps. Been using the rotations for a while but only just started working on the opener. I conquered the opener in practice within a day, but have yet to have a successful run in combat against a boss.

That said, I'm already thinking about how to start officially raiding. Melds and mods and dps and parsing and such. I swear my friend had to explain what clipping was like... ten different ways.

FFXIV Update:

I have reached Endwalker! I'm also nearly at lvl 90. Feeling very accomplished.

Happy to see the excitement in the community again, that time before xpacs is always revitalizing. That said, I do hope the bunnies can keep their soft noses though. Please SE

FFXIV UPDATE

I have completed Stormblood and am two instances into Shadowbringers. Level 80 out of 90 and looking forward to unlocking the lvl 80 blm spells.

Trying not to get distracted leveling up my crafters, but ultimately, some days a girl just needs to collect some herbs, cook some food, and carve some wood. Y'know?

Side note: I am no longer allowed to call Minfilia my wife, considering she's now 16yo, and that would be squicky and gross. I must accept that my wife, OG Minfilia, is gone. *sadface*
