All the while, Fell's hand remains held against Solan's chest, the other limp in his lap as he tries to soothe himself with deep inhalations of familiar scent—lavender, clean soap, skin…”

Snippet of the fanfic of Falindae and CyrilOdahviing on AO3 for the FFXIV Big Bang! Their story, “As We Should Be” is a beautiful romance between a veena and a rava. This scene was so emotional, I hope I managed to capture their feelings!! Art by me.
