Stoked to get VIP tickets to see Framing Hanley for the first and last time. If you're going to the Joplin show June 3 please let me know bc the only friend of mine that wants to go isn't 21 until August!
The other day I got some extremely sad news that one of my favorite bands @framinghanley made the difficult decision to break up. I have been following this band since I was 17 and everyday since I've been patiently waiting for the day I could see them live. I almost flew to England from Italy maybe 3 times so I could see them but realized it was impossible. And on the day I was on my way to London on November 2013 the tour got canceled. It felt as though the universe was against me. But I was lucky enough to see them twice in one week. I was front row center, I was singing my heart out to their music, and had the chance to meet them and I can honestly say it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had. I truly wish these guys had gotten the musical recognition they deserved. They have such a great talent and greater hearts. It pains me to see them go, but like with every break up we should not dwell on the sadness, rather remember the good times we all had. I am so glad that I decided to click on that YouTube link all those years ago, and I'm glad that I donated to making their new album and helping them with their dreams, I'm glad I never gave up hoping they'd come back to London one day, and I'm glad I got to see them and tell them how much I admire their work, and I'm proud to be a #fhan. #fhamily never goes away (at The Underworld Camden)
