More F.H. Black :>. White needs to do something, so she will stay in charge of the kids. The thing is, Black had an accident with a grenade, and the shrapnel hit her throat, destroying her vocal cords in the process ( she can regenerate, but the material used was special to kill ‘diamond eyes’, so the regeneration was bad. ) .

So, she has to use sign language when she needs to stop talking, or when she gets anxious.
