so we know that yellow diamond and human yellow first met

But i wonder how was the aftermath of them meeting did they switch bodies or did they connect telephatecy?

They still don't how did they switched their bodies. Bc it wasn't their powers. Kind of mystery. After they met each other in person, yellow diamond gave her era1 communicator(like peridot used it to contact yellow diamond in the show).

And they haven't switched their bodies anymore after they met in person.
