ELIAS: did coach change the code for the court?
ELIAS: like in the past two hours??
Getting lost was not exactly something Noah was used to doing. Unfortunately, he was in the biggest new place he had ever been in, and getting lost had become far more common than he was comfortable with. Rather than ask for someone to show him around, though, he had decided that following the upperclassmen around from a distance would be just as good. With, of course, the added advantage of getting the chance to observe his teammates off the court before he had to play with them, and give himself a good chance of blending in with them before they notice he’s there.
Today, he was following Quinn. The upperclassman had a habit of wandering around the campus when he needed to think, and Noah had picked up on it pretty early on. He had wanted to follow him for weeks, since Quinn could disappear for hours at a time, and must know the campus pretty well as a result. Today was the first time he had seen the man actually leave, though. Taking care to stay far behind so he wouldn’t be notice, Noah followed Quinn out of Fox Tower and into the surrounding area.
In the middle of her own, self planned morning practice, Sophie was taking a break, the voice of her old coach lingering in her head, muttering irritably, Don’t work yourself to death, kid. It was a tough habit to break, but there was no point in exhausting herself before the real work started. She’d just get a drink of water; everything was peachy. Until she heard the footsteps, then everything wasn’t peachy, and the sounds of the rumors she’d heard from the annoying freshmen of the football club entered her head instead. She set her water down, wrapped her hands around the racquet discarded on the ground-
“I swear to fuck if you’re a ghost-”
truly elias had been back for quite some time, his summer cut short due to a public altercation with jakob. coach posted the bail, but not being reaming him out over the phone and making him promise to return directly to campus. however, at that time fox tower had been closed, so the young man had spent the past few weeks in a motel off the exit. only now was he moving back. two duffel bags were slung over his broad shoulders, and they rocked slightly as he climbed his way up the stairs. a moment later they landed with a heavy thud in front of the second door on the hall. then he turned back to the mailboxes where the keys should have been left -- only to find them empty. a low and long sigh left his lips and he began to absentmindedly rub the left side of his neck. ‘ where the hell did are the goddamn keys ? ’ he asks, not even bothering to turn and face the individual he had heard on the stairs, but rather moving back to his bags instead.
“If the constant whining and crying is anything to go off, this is doomed to be an exceedingly dull and irritating existence.” Marianna offers, winding a strand of red hair around her finger.
“You’re only use right now is to suck me off. So, stop complaining and get it over with already.”
"Who the fuck are you?”
“I-I cut one of my boxers small enough to fit squeakers finally..I’m so proud of myself.”
