Pros of being a friend:
Probably one of the most loyal people you will ever meet
Awesome wingman(woman? whatever)
Good at talking through a problem with you and suggesting logical solutions
Almost always truthful, and when she’s not its usually easy to spot
Strong believer in good communication - misunderstandings are rare
Generally pretty knowledgable
Rarely unwilling to help you out. It doesn’t matter if you need someone to listen to a vent or to help you hide a body, she’s totally game.
Cons of being a friend:
Can be too nosy as a result of her attempts to help
Protective to the point where it can be a bit dangerous for whoever’s hurt you - bad breakups might end with someone permanently damaged
Her insistence on open communication can very easily lead to awkward conversations
Easily annoyed when you are obviously hiding helpful information from her. If she doesn’t think its necessary she’ll let it slide but once she needs whatever you’re keeping from her she gets mad real fast.
Holds grudges like nobody else. Did your ex snub you at a party 5,000 years ago? You may have forgiven them and forgotten about it but she sure as shit hasn’t. This doesn’t pair well with her protectiveness problem
Often comes across as a know-it-all when she’s just trying to deliver information in the most efficient way possible. Pointing this out may or may not make this stop depending on the situation
She’s either super knowledgable about a subject or knows nothing at all. If she isn’t helpful she’s fucking useless and she doesn’t deal with this well which only makes things worse.

Fi’s back hit the wall a bit harder than she expected, but that was the last thing on her mind. Having the merchant so close always did funny things to her. She didn’t have a heart rate to speed up but it felt like she did, and all thought in her mind came to a screeching halt. “Can I help you with something?” she asked in a slightly desperate attempt to keep her composure. The Spirit wasn’t about to complain about this but she wasn’t really sure why she’d been pinned to the wall in the first place.
