i can't express how much i hate the fia.. i can't believe they took from us rain races. it is the most entertaining thing to watch them race eachother in the rain because it gives way to unexpected results and separates the good drivers from the bad. like back then you could have a backmarker having insane results in a rain race just because of pure talent. now all we have is a thousand laps under saftey car with inters on (that is if it isn't red flagged immediately after the first drops of water reported). there is no reason to not have wet races. i know there is always those people who believe that wet races are always red flagged because drivers will bin their cars anyways. why do you think they'll bin their car??? maybe it's because they don't know how to drive in the rain cause they're never allowed to do so!!!
at this point i have no fucking clue why pirelli even bothers to make wet tyres anymore. they're literally never used. Here's what the fia took from us btw ✨
something else that intrigues me is how do top teams decide who to put in their seats nowadays? like all the backmarkers seem shit and you can't really know for sure whether they're shit because the car is undrivable or because they're shit themselves. like i feel lile there isn't instances where the driver can prove his own capabilities anymore ✨(bring back the rain)
I geniunely hope the fia will bring back real racing at some point because at this point it looks lile they're doing their best to make races as uninteresting as possible (monaco 2024? what the hell was that? besides for the charles win nothing was going on i was asleep on my couch. and no need to say ohh it's always like that in monaco. i know. but it definitely felt more boring than usual)
