Wherever this little fairy house will live here will have to like flowers...lots of flowers! All of my outdoor fairy houses are finished wit
Heya, folks. Lots of new Costume Fairy Adventures stuff to show you this week!
We've added five new illustrations to the playtest version of the Core Rulebook; you'll find them on pages 11, 178, 185 and 187. (Plus placeholder sketches of additional illustrations in progress on pages 25, 140-141 and 167, if you're curious what's coming down the pipeline art-wise.) We've also added PDF bookmarks, and updated the playtest version number on the title page; one of our helpful backers pointed out that we'd neglected to do so the last couple of times, so you'll see the number skip straight from 0.1 to 0.4. If you're a backer, you can snag an updated copy using the links and credentials in Update 68, or in your Paypal pre-order email.
Our Core Costume Deck news is a little bigger. The visual design of the cards is one of the earliest bits of the game we worked on - before even the Quickstart Edition - and the fact that it was a first effort was starting to show. So, while we're putting the finishing touches on the text of The Big Pie Caper, we asked our graphic designer to put together an updated version: something that's more in line with the game's current style, and hopefully a bit more legible in the bargain. You can see what we came up with above.
Our backers can download a full version of the Core Costume Deck with the updated design from the usual place (i.e., likewise using the links and credentials in Update 68, or in your Paypal pre-order email). Please let us know what you think! We're aiming to have our printed proofs ordered within the week, with the final order to follow depending on what issues - if any - are discovered there, so there's not much time left for feedback.
Speaking of The Big Pie Caper, we've sent a big chunk of the revised text off for final editing, and we're just a few days away from getting the ball rolling on final layout. Here's where that's at:

That's all for now, folks!
