Who Cares About Women in Sport?

FIAS (International SAMBO Federation) is currently working, in conjunction with the International Working Group on Women and Sport, to expand Sambo so that it draws more female competitors. So they cut together this video (probably could have choose a better title) highlighting some of the women that compete.

If I remember correctly, there isn’t an event for women’s combat sambo (the one w/ striking) in FIAS competition. They currently only compete in sport sambo (the pure grappling competition). Men, of course, have two separate divisions for both.
