Which of these microcrochet butterflies do you like best?
Just posting some pictures of the latest lace things I made while looking for a magic square pattern. This isn't a magic square but I attached the squares together too make a larger square. The middle one is the complete one (minus the weaving in ends).
ok lace crochet is officially my new favorite thing it’s so TINY and CUTE!!!
i am having the best time
Sooo I picked up needle tatting because I totally don't have a problem... It's totally fine I'm still fiddling around with it. I already shuttle tatt but hey new method.
Projects as of Late
Been busy and continue to be with the end of the year coming up quickly. Manage to revisit the tatted ring pattern I had done a while back. Probably might do more of these for fun. Did the tunisian croch cowl I had been meaning to finish. Very squishy. Finally warped the rigid heddle loom to practice weaving on it. And made some tatted hearts to see what size I like for possibly earrings. More to come of that later. I like the beads I added on the outer chains.
🧶 Hexipuffs 🌟
So this is a close-up of my pile of hexipuffs I've been slowly making with sock yarn from stash and us 1 (2.25 mm) needles. Handspun is included in this list. This is a chill long term wip I'm in no rush to complete.
I've been attempting to see how many I can make without repeating. Current count is 40 approximately. Also fun fact, I'm not fond of sewing stuff together so not sure why I chose this..... Too late now. 😂
TDF 2026 so far
Been a bit busy but I have been participating in tour de fleece this year. Currently in the midst of spinning some acrylic fiber (about 2 oz) I've had in stash for a bit.
The finished yarn will go into a casual project I have going. I'll probably put pictures up at some point.
