Sidenote:
Fibro wise, today is still sucky. So I'm on my period and working (doing 15 minute checks in a residential house). I just got hit with an incredible wave of nausea and dizziness. Thank god I have some Zofran with me but still! Ugh. And earlier I had a nasty migraine. Thanks, fibro + heat + period.

The same guy (from the ableism post) is chatting me up on facebook -.-
Prior to this we just had an argument about him having a lack of an open mind.
Him: How you've been this summer?
Me: Bored and sick
Him: Looking for a job? (Mind you, I post about being sick almost daily and my battle for disability because I can't hold a job) STRIKE ONE.
Me: No.
Him: ......because you're sick? (refer to parentheses above) STRIKE TWO.
Me: Yes.
Him: What do you do to manage it? (I post statuses about doctors visits all the time, I even posted a pick of all the meds I take on a daily basis) STRIKE THREE! (any convo after this is just because I'm trying to be polite and not just sign out in the middle of it)
Me: Going to 5+ doctors, taking 5+ medicines, and none of it works
Him: wtf?? that should've did something, that's crazy
Me: Nope i'm basically doomed for the rest of my life. (Totally thought it would end here.)
Him: I doubt it.
Me: None of the things i'm sick with have cures. i've been on nearly every med available for each disease or disorder. i can no longer exercise without being in horrible physical pain, even walking. going up the stairs might as well be a mountain. I'm autistic as well as having social phobia, having the little bit of friends i do have is hard. (In total rage by this point)
Him: you really have a fear of being social? how come? (I've mentioned my Asperger's and social phobia several times before. We even have a center for Autism in town on our campus!)
Me: it is a mental disorder (referring to the social phobia, I know Autism is more of a developmental disorder). as well as autistic people are often wary of social situations.
Him: Yes i understand that part, but my question why are scared to be social? (Murder is illegal, murder is illegal, murder is illegal -.-)
Me: Dude. i just said it's a disorder. that's like asking why someone has cancer.
Him: you're not understanding my question, what happens in your mind when you get around people?
Me: I don't like people. never have. my heart races. I stim like crazy. I dont talk, most times I dont want to anyway. It's just hell I cant even describe it in depth right.
Him: Mmm...that's unfortunate. /explodes!/ D8<
