Jack Sparks ~ The Moral Standard of Cowboys Everywhere

(note: this description is a little half-assed because i gotta catch a train in around 20 minutes :p)

The modern (at least, modern for the Wild West era in which the story is set) equivalent of a mythic culture hero, such as Cu Chulainn, Lancelot or Fionn Mac Cumhaill -- no doubt bolstered by his name, Jack, being a common name a number of trickster and/or hero figures.

He lives up to his reputation: no wrongdoing can be done around him and go unpunished. His ideals are surprisingly current, matching with today's views despite the age he belongs to. He has a soft spot for indigenous groups to say the least. And when he crosses Beans and Sadie, he'll make sure they're safe as long as they're within his sight... What that means exactly, I'll have to decide later, because I gotta go, cya!

Meet Zamir Aino and W'ariyuu Wiyuut!

Meet Zamir Aino (aka Bug Eyes/Buggy), Mirialan

He is 17 years old as of chapter 8. Tall lanky mf. Sarcastic asshole. He was called that because he wears big bug eyed goggles most of the time and because back then he used to cry a lot that his eyes were always swelled up the morning after. Had an older sister when they were snatched up. He and his sister were assigned to Arla as replacement to previous members Tor had killed as punishment for Arla. His sister did not survive one mission and left Zamir alone in Arla's squad. Her death made him more closed off and his face semi permanently blank and apathetic.

Meet W'ariyuu Wiiyut (aka Quip)mon calamari

First time they introduced themself. Arla thought their name is Wario and had to sit down to process the phsyic damage that dealt to her. Equivalent of 19 years old. Likes making things go boom. Was a foundling before they were stolen away by Kyr'tsad. Always with Zamir. Was part of the replacements for one of the times Tor kills off some of Arla's squad as punishment, along with Zamir, his sister, and two others. Only Zamir and them survived in that batch before Tor meddles again and sends for more replacements. Scared of Vryl but would not admit it.
