Fic Request Rules

Updated February 2026

This post contains details how to make a fic request, when/if I am open to requests.

Please do not send fic requests unless I specifically state I am open to them.

What you can request: I take requests for ‘x fem!reader' fanfiction. I occasionally write character ship fics, but I don't take requests for that, unless I specify otherwise.

Who I write for: Benedict Bridgerton, Anthony Bridgerton.

What I will write for you: Short (<10k) one-shots. Smut, fluff, humour/crack. I specialise in smut including kink. If you want angst, please look elsewhere. It's not something I do well or enjoy writing. If you have a preferred period - Regency, Modern AU - please remember to include that. I tend to write Regency unless specified otherwise.

What I won't write: character death, underage, non-con, incest, and a few more extreme kinks. Also, I do not write reader-insert fics for a selective physical audience (e.g., plus-size, particular ethnicity) because I want as many folks as possible to enjoy placing themselves in the fic.

How to submit a request: Via my ask box only please. Due to unfortunate past experiences, I no longer accept anonymous fic requests unless they are accompanied by a private message so I know who the requester is. You will also need to be following this blog for your request to be considered. I will not disclose your identity publicly. Any anonymous requests without an accompanying message or any request from blogs who do not follow will be ignored/deleted.

Please note: I do not reply to fic request asks immediately; I keep them in my inbox as a queuing system until I have written the fic. I may reach out via private message if I have any questions.

Disclaimer: I may combine multiple requests into a single fic. I may decline a request if it’s too similar to a fic I've written before. I also reserve the right to refuse a request for any reason. This is not a value judgment on your request; it’s purely about my ability to fulfil it.

Turnaround time: Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee a delivery time. Sorry! I wish I was a faster writer with more time!

Enjoyed my fics? Would you want me to write one for you? Well, my asks are open for requests. But before you send a request, here are a few guidelines to consider.

What can you send?

You can pretty much send me anything. Either it be a photo or a prompt you wish to come to life. It can also simply be a dialogue, it’s up to you. What I do request is that you make it less specific all because, I would still like to have creative freedom over what I write.

What can you request?

If you’ve read my stories, you know what I write. But just to give a refresher, I mainly write dark and/or smut. I USED to write fluff but as much as possible, I would stay away from it. Not because I don’t like it but because I need to be massively inspired to write fluff.

If you want fluff fics, I can recommend you to writers who do an amazing job at them.

Who can you request?

My characters have expanded massively. So you can count on the fact that I’m not staying within the boundaries of Game of Thrones and MCU. But here is a list of characters I am willing to write for.

Game of Thrones: Jorah Mormont, Petyr Baelish and Jaime Lannister

MARVEL: Vision, Loki, Thor, Tony Stark, Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Logan Howlett

Sebastian Stan Characters: Lee Bodecker and Steve Kemp

Chris Evans Characters: Lloyd Hansen, Ransom Drysdale, Curtis Everett and Andy Barber

Tom Hiddleston Characters: James Conrad, Jonathan Pine and Thomas Sharpe

TV Shows/Others: Joel Miller (The Last of Us) and Samuel Drake (Uncharted)

Notes:

I am a slow writer so do not expect your requests to be fulfilled ASAP. I also have my WIP to deal with so please bare with me.

Not all requests will be done. I’m sorry. This is because what you requested may not resonate with me as much and the last thing I want to put out is sloppy work.

As I mentioned at the first part, it would be preferred if your request was less specific for I still want some creative freedom on what I write.

For dark requests, send them to @shadeysprings for smut and angst, send them to @springdandelixn. This is very important because I will not entertain requests that have been sent to the wrong blog.

And I think that’s pretty much it. So, send them requests!

Fic request guidelines

1. please only use my ask box for fic requests, if it’s sent to me as a message or a comment/reblog on a post i will likely forget about it

2. for fic prompt memes, please include the prompt (instead of just the number)! sometimes i’m slow filling things, so having the actual prompt with the request means it’ll get filled (ex: finnrey, 4 = i will probably forget what this means. finnrey, coffee shop au = :D)

3. please respect my “hell no” list-- if you request something that’s on there, i won’t fill it

“hell no” list: -rpf (real person fiction/real person shipping) -noncon, dubcon, rape, sexual assault -explicit sexual content / smut (i don’t fill requests for these due to ambiguous ages on tumblr) -incest -teacher/student in modern or real-world settings 

“probably not” list (things i might fill, but don’t love writing): -alcoholism/drunk!fic (goes for any other drugs) -pregnancy or kid!fic

4. please remember this is a hobby for me-- realistically, not everything’s going to get filled. i try to fill everything i have inspiration for, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen. you’re welcome to submit as many fic requests/prompts as you want, however

Hi all

Just a gentle reminder, I’m closed to new fic requests at the moment. I got two overnight that I will not be able to fulfill. Before sending them, please do check my pinned post or the Requests link on my blog header. 🫶

I’m still working on asks i got in February. Yes I’m aware it’s now July. Sorry, I’m a slow writer. I have a pile of 31 requests I need to make a dent into before I can even think about reopening to new requests.

Hi peeps

I'm getting fic requests over DM, here and on my personal account, and it's hard to keep track of them that way. If you have a fic request, or want a sequel to something I have written, please can you submit an ask to @fayes-fics HERE.

That way, I can keep track. It can be anon if you prefer... and you can fess up to it on DM if you want, lol.

I know it is a privilege to be getting requests, and don’t want to appear ungrateful at all, I just want to ensure nothing falls thru the cracks. Trying to do the best that I can to keep a system going, so it's more manageable for me.

Smut, angst, x-reader, AUs, fluff, 100000% friendly to writing trans reader fics, queer content in general

If, for any reason, I am unable or unwilling to do a prompt, I may release it as an open prompt, delete it, or hand it off to a fellow writer who may be able to write it.
