cw near death experience (you asked for this anon)
In a timeline where before suddenly disappearing, Temma leaves Jr. with Miyabi, Miyabi (together with Oga's help) raises the boy while getting no sign or response to what Temma's status is. As the boy grows older, he becomes more and more similar to his father; adventurous, hard-working and stubbornly committed to a goal at times, even getting into knight school when he was old enough.
After an unfortunate <tragedy of your choice cause im tired>, the young man is left at the brink of death. Miyabi rushes to save the boy (Oga following behind). Acting out of adrenaline, fear and instinct, Miyabi makes a decision.
When Oga arrives, the boy is fine. He's sleeping peacefully in Miyabi's arms, the other hiding his face in his hair as he stares down at the boy.
Immediately, Oga could feel something was wrong.
There's an energy unlike that of the human boy, it didn't feel like Temma's. Like how it usually should.
No, it felt a lot like Miyabi's instead.
Of course he wouldn't suspect Miyabi of anything. Not until he sees the red strand of hair hidden in the blonde boy's head at least.
