What if birds hit your window?
Today a first-spring Pied Flycacther (Ficedula hypoleuca) crashed into my window. What did I do? What needs to be done when a bird is stunned on the ground? What the bird need is to fly again; your role is to guard it, nothing else.
While keeping an eye on it, search on the internet for a local wildlife reahbilitator or similar institution for instructions on what to do or a phone number to call. Follow their instructions! If no one answers, then do as follow.
1) Watch it closely; if there are potential dangers nearby (cats, dogs, elements etc) and you can’t properly protect it with your own presence, repeatedly pierce a cardboard box and try put it in there. If it tries to fly away, let him immediately! If not, put it in the box and leave the box in a dark and quiet room for half an hour.
2) As the half an hour passed, bring the box outside again and open it. If the bird flies away, then it’s mission accomplished! If not, return it to the dark and quiet room and try again to get in contact with a willife rehabber, for it probably needs hospitalization.

It’s been a long time since I shared any photography on here, unfortunately this was due to some mental health issues that prevented me from doing any photography for almost a year, but I’m slowly getting back into it! ^^
@tommyismymainranger not many birds in this post but I hope you don’t mind me tagging you again? ^^
