You know it’s a good day when you get to cross a legendary artwork off your urban art bucket list after so many years.

‘Ave Maria’ by El Mac and Retna, painted in 2009 in downtown Salt Lake City, commissioned by Fice Gallery.

At the time, it was the duo’s tallest mural, at 44-feet. The words in the halo are Latin, the beginning of the Ave Maria.
