A character I disliked for a number of reasons was recently revealed to be canonically gay so now people think I'm homophobic for disliking them when I still dislike them for all the same reasons as I did before.

When people on Tumblr praise a female character who’s a SIXTEEN year old for simply being a girl and LGBT and overlook the fact that like many other 15 to 17 year olds in the show, she’s objectified in every. Single. Moment. Of the show!! I could care less that she’s a female LGBT character, I’m just so tired of high school characters who are under 18 being sexualized on screen. I gave up trying to even watch the show because of these reasons and a few others.
