More Anecdotes...

Okay so as I was reviewing my [very old] fanfic writing, I saw that a couple entries were wiped from the server completely-- disloyal fucks

This made me want to track down the original copies, which was kind of a pain. I had to turn on my bpbpb20some year old computer, which housed most of my original tumblr nonsense. One of the wiped fics I almost lost to a computer malfunction back then, and I remember I had to pay $40 to recover it. Tonight, I just had it in my head that I had to find it. Long story short, I did find it (yay!)

and it wasn't really worth the trouble (lol, oh well).

The other lost story was actually chapter 1 of Unlocking Mendax, which I haven't read yet.

But going through the files on this computer was like cracking open some sort of time capsule. It was unreal how it transported me back, and I also found a handful of more songs that made me think of Assangie back in the day that I forgot about! 💕

So needless to say it's been an emotional, nostalgic night...

Bout to out myself:

Albert Wesker is the OG. He is how I knew I had a villain problem and a fucked moral compass. I'll never forget the appalled way my gaming buddy yelled "NO! HE'S OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR DAD!!!" when we used to play re5. But how can you not find that man beautiful? C'mon. Lookit him.

Jeremy Blaire. Ya know the asshat with a coke problem who put Waylon in the Morphogenic Engine program? Yeah. 100% my type. (very hard to find a decent image, fanart is better. 😊)

Harry Flynn is the least terrible older man on this list. He's more of an antagonist than an actual villain. You'd expect allll his behavior from a professional thief.

Handsome Jack (obviously. And Timothy, even tho he's a good boi. The goodest boi. Possibly my only good choice in fictional men). He's funny, crazy, arrogant, charming in a kinda mean way. Yaaaassss.

Still on the Borderlands train, Zane Flynt. I guess he gets a pass for all the murdering (and obvious delight he takes in murdering) cuz he's a playable character; but Zane can always get it. Likes killing people, punny, A+ accent, gallows humor, hot older dude. All the boxes.

That's my main list. There's more, some more decent than others; but these are the ones who never leave the list. 😂

Rafe Adler is morally - corrupt in the best ways, and he is also the youngest on my list. 😉 But I have to include him cuz I love him.

Are there just some things you can't see characters doing?

Like not all of them, and not weird things, just, some things you can't imagine characters doing. Like, i can't see Hawkeye paying for things. Like, i never thought about it, but, in my brain Hawkeye has NEVER paid for shit. 

And, like, Xavier, at some point he got drunk, he has, and will again, been drunk. I can't see that.
