I hate how people keep going "Mufasa was a bad movie! The story is all wrong!"
That's my life they're talking about, it's not wrong just because you think it is! And from a logical standpoint you also really cant Hound the writers for making a new story separate from the books
Let alone all the "Disney is justifying murder Waaaaa" This movie isnt about the murder, its not about that it's about our childhood and our story, and if you had any media literacy you'd be able to see that no i did not "betray Mufasa for no reason", I was in pain I felt betrayed I was literally raised to doubt him! And i feel bad about it! But it wasn't no reason to me in the moment
And then there's the other side of the pool that hates my brother, and call him a bad brother??? Like, no??? He literally lied about him being the one that saved Sarabi so that I could have the credit and impress her??? He literally felt bad about being in love with her because I was too. He did not "abandon his brother to 'get some' " what do you MEAN
Sorry about the negativity, just had to get this out somewhere
- Taka (From "Mufasa" specifically)
