I love being an oc alter most days, I do. There's just a tenderness of how the host loved the source so much that they made me to interact with it; and then I formed as an alter! But other days, it's just sadness about missing friends who only exist in your version, and even if you make friends from slightly different versions of your source, they won't know you at all. Like, I just want my husband and friends..

i took a break from front, now i'm back and it is, once again, missing my dad hours. this time i'm feeling a lot better, though! i remember after a very stressful night, i was really upset and we were sitting on the floor and he started telling me about my mom (i was really young when we lost her), and how i looked like her, and the reasoning behind his name and why he did the things he did. it was so comforting. i miss him a lot. - Ophelia Page, V for Vendetta (fictive)
