like you come back and your computer needs 200 updates, meanwhile 20 movies and video games were announced and all your TV shows have a month's worth of episodes released
like i can't even imagine what it would be like to actually be deployed for a whole year or more. pop culture and media cycles through phases so quickly it would be like traveling way into the future
