Me during field games:
Paintball. Ever tried it, any fun stories? I went paintballing with a Marine sniper once, which was a terrifying experience...
Once.
I learned two things very, very quickly.
1. Don’t get shot in the face.2. Wear more clothes under the padding.
Excellent, fast-paced, ridiculously adrenaline-filled game. Playing paintball was one of the best experiences I never want to do again.
Summer Game
HEY KIDS!
Do you like throwing water balloons at your friends? Have you ever thought that GMing a game would be a lot more fun if there were more physical activities? Are you a fan of 1980's German Power Metal bands?
If you've said yes to one or all of these things, have I got something for you!
Here is a completely, 100% free game that I designed for game school (last year) where you and four of your friends can throw water balloons at each other with rules!
Check out Blind Guardian, a game to be played in a field of varying size for two teams of two and a referee.
On Team A, one player acts as the "Blind", where they blindfold themselves and walk perilously down a field. The second player of Team A is the "Guardian", utilizing oven mitts, baseball gloves, or other appropriately sized fashion statements to protect the Blind while they travel.
Protect them from what, you ask? Well that would be Team B, two players that have a sole purpose of beaning your Blind with water balloons!
Don't worry, they can only throw from behind the Blind in a 180-degree radius, as getting smashed in the face with a water balloon is never fun, sight or no sight. The fifth person acts as a Referee to make sure that there is, in fact, no harm and no foul.
If a team gets to the end of the field, they score a point. If the team fails in a watery explosion, they switch and plot balloon-related revenge! First to two points wins.
Intrigued? Politely interested? Completely disgusted? Check out this link for an extremely user-unfriendly guidebook. Play Blind Guardian today, and show your friends that they can rely on you for protection/a watery grave.
REDNECK CRAZY MEDIC.

OMG that was the best day on this fucked camp! I barely feel my legs and can't catch my breath, but that was AWESOME!
