The History of American Cheese?🧀
American Cheese is one of the many popular foods that is used in a variety of ways in American homes. In old American history, American Cheese was made at home and is now sold at today’s stores all across the world.
After processed cheese was invented in 1911, it was given the name “American Cheese” by James L Kraft during the 1920’s.
What is it made out of ?
Factory workers and machines create to be sold to the public. American Cheese was manufactured and sold in the United States.
American cheese includes dairy ingredients such as cream, cheese whey, milk and other types of milk.
Fun Fact💡: American Cheese is required by law to include at least two types of real cheese to fully not be processed.
The impact of American Cheese on my life and community...🧀💛
The impact American Cheese has on my life is it is used in the food I eat and can greatly contribute to my overall health.
The packaging that is used for American Cheese is plastic. This affects my community and environment because plastic can be reused and recycled.
Another impact it has on my local community is that the factory that is used to make the cheese is able to give individuals jobs, because there are not a lot of factories in the United States; most of the factories are located over seas and majority of our products come from out of state.
Who is involved with this product?🧀
The first American Cheese factory was created in 1851, In New York. Jesse Williams was the first individual involved with American Cheese making.
This product was created because the inventor wanted to work on his sons cheese making skills and then turned it into a business. Now American Cheese has spreaded across the world and used in many different ways.

Cheese is apart of American food tradition and is sold all around the world. It gave Americans jobs and has also influenced the creation of the American cheese society which is an organization that helps our community. With the reusable packaging it helps keep our environment clean.
