Washington County Fair Celebrates America 250 with History and Family Fun "In less than a month, the Washington County Fair will welcome the community to one of Southern Utah’s most anticipated traditions. This year’s fair joins the nationwide celebration of America 250, commemorating 250 years of American independence through immersive, family-friendly experiences that honor the nation’s founding spirit. The celebration begins Friday, April 10, with an official ribbon-cutting at 3:30 PM to open the fair. Immediately following, a short program featuring the La Verkin Elementary School Choir will perform patriotic songs. Guests are then invited to sing “Happy Birthday” and enjoy free ice cream and cake...."
