2. The history behind Ray-Ban glasses is that it was founded in 1937 by a company called Bausch & Lomb; a popular aviation sunglass company. The buisness a popularity starting rising in many foreign countries, grossing over millions of dollars .Ray an became so popular in the 20th century that famous people started to wear them, for example famous African American activist Malcom X

3. Ray-Ban is manufactured in both Italy and China.

4. These glasses has impacted my life because without them It would be hard for me to see things from a distance ( Yes, I’m near sighted) . I also really like the interesting style of these glasses.

5. The people involved with the manufacturing of this item is the company Luxottica, which expanded from Italy to China. According to www.indeed.com ( based on real employees experiences) Life for people who work for this glasses manufacturing company are mostly satisfactory with good benefits, but on the other hand it they sometimes work in hazardous conditions.

1. The history behind air jordan 1 is that it existed because Michael jordan didn’t want to sign with Nike. Nike creative director Peter C.Moore was tasked with designing Jordan’s first shoe. Michael Jordan didn’t like the shoe at first but it grew on him. Then Michael jordan start wearing them at games and the tv showed them and the rest is history. They become a great success and a really big sneaker world.

2. The item was made in Vietnam the first real air jordan 1 was made there.

3. The impact that these shoes have on my life is that this are my favorite sneakers ever to get. They really comfortable to wear. Those sneakers are me like they go with my style perfectly.

4. The people who was directly involved with making this item was Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore in 1984. Life for tinker Hatfield is good. He’s 68 years old and one of the worlds most legendary sneaker designers and currently Nike’s Vice President for design and special projects. Life for Bruce Kilgore he continued to working on court shoes and created a tennis line up. Unfortunately I looked everywhere to find Peter Moore and nothing is coming up for him. The only thing coming up is that he designed the shoe and promise me I looked everywhere.

Welch’s fruit juice is manufactured in Westfield, New York; Northeast, Pennsylvania; Lorton, Michigan; Kennewick, Washington; and Grandview, Washington. I brought Welch’s fruit juice from my local grocery store. Welch’s fruit juice positively impact other people’s lives by providing a job through their manufacturing site and their production team.

1. What is the history of the fruit juice?

In 1849, Ephraim Wales Bull developed Welches fruit juice. By 1869, Dr. Thomas Bramwell Welch produced juice using the Concord grapes. Later, he started selling this unfermented grape juice that became very popular and is now known as Welch’s Foods Inc. In 1952, Welch’s was purchased by the National Grape Cooperative Association.

Welch’s fruit juice is manufactured in Westfield, New York; Northeast, Pennsylvania; Lorton, Michigan; Kennewick, Washington; and Grandview, Washington.

3. What impact does the item have on your life?

Yeah Welch’s fruit juices used  to quench peoples thirst and are something that is used at the social event and at holiday parties

Local residents of New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Michigan are directly involved with making/manufacturing this item. A typical day at work involves working together as a team. The hardest part of the job is that the fact that the line is very fast-paced, and it can be challenging to keep pace.

1.  Glaceau Smartwater is a brand of bottled water owned by The Coca-Cola Company. Introduced in 1996 in the United States, by 2016 it was one of the top five brands of bottled water in that country with sales worth nearly $830 million in 2017.

2.  Glaceau Smartwater is made from British spring water which is vapor-distilled before electrolytes are added. It was manufactured in Morpeth, Northumberland.

3. This product has a big impact on my life because I started a water cleanse November 1st after my accident and I wanted to choose a purely balanced ph level water to drink while I embark on this journey

History-  First documented proof of hair weaves dates back to 3400 BC worn by Egyptians. Egyptians wore wigs, hair pieces, and braids made of human hair or dyed sheep’s wool. The extensions were attached using resin and beeswax. In the 1950s Christina Jenkins received a patent for the hair weaving process. She started a company called Christina’s Hair-Weev that people loved. People from other countries would travel and pay to learn her hair weaving techniques.

Where was my item manufactured?- My item was made in China according to the packaging.

Impact on my Life- I use this particular hair to do updos or ponytails for extra length and style. Other types of hair weave I sew on to my hair as a diverse way to protect my natural hair. I love using weave for different hairstyles. It allows me to be diverse and cute.

Who is directly involved in making this product?-  Women in many different countries in Asia give up their hair for the weave epidemic. Sometimes they shave their entire head to give their hair up. They also sometimes collect hair out of their combs, brushes, and off the floor and once they get a good amount of fallen strands they sell the wad of hair. A good amount of saved up hair can take up to 3 years. In Bangladesh, India, and Myanmar there are workshops where the hair is untangled and sorted. These workshops employ female workers to prepare the hair. In the article I read a female worker described the process as followed "It's painstaking work, and very labour intensive - 1.5kg (3.3lb) of hair takes around 80 hours of labour to untangle"

The toothbrush as we know it today was not invented until 1938. However, early forms of the toothbrush have been in existence since 3000 BC. Ancient civilizations used a "chew stick," which was a thin twig with a frayed end. These 'chew sticks' were rubbed against the teeth.The bristle toothbrush, similar to the type used today, was not invented until 1498 in China. The bristles were actually the stiff, coarse hairs taken from the back of a hog's neck and attached to handles made of bone or bamboo.Today toothbrushes keep thousands of mouths clean and prevent oral ailments.

Shea Moisture: Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo

Ingredients: Water, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Stearate, Essential Oil Blend, Shea Butter, Sea Kelp Extract, Argan Oil (All Certified and Fair Trade Ingredients)

1. Unfamiliar History: This black owned business was initially started in a village in Sierra Leone in 1912. Sofi Tucker, a widowed teen, sold Shea Butter and African Black Soap to support herself and her four children. Decades later, Tucker’s grandchildren founded Shea Moisture in Harlem, New York with her hair and skincare recipes and markets internationally.

2. According to Shea Moisture’s official website, they promise to never use parabens, mineral oil, formaldehyde, phthalates, DEA, propylene, and petroleum, all things that can damage hair and skin. This company is dedicated to fighting animal testing and keeping up with their certified natural and organic fair trade ingredients. Through their head brand, Sundial Brands, Shea Moisture is ran in Long Island, New York. The brand still holds onto their African Roots by buying their goods from African countries today. 

3. Shea Moisture products impact my daily life immensely. The Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo helps cleanse my curls while defining and strengthening them. I love to use the matching conditioner to retain moisture and detangle my hair. My entire family uses the products regularly, as well. 

4. Through their fair trade efforts, employees around the world who are in the fields picking the ingredients, get paid fair wages according to their work hours.
