was browsing through the osaaka tag (as one always does) (it’s a healthy amount of browsing) (i swear) AND I STUMBLED UPON THIS FIC ABOUT COLLEGE OSAAKA FRENEMIES/IDIOTS TO LOVERS !!!!

it’s absolutely hilarious and the characterization reminds me a lot of your osaaka!! basically atsumu annoyed akaashi to high hell and when he sees the menace living in the same building as bokuto, he exacts his drunken revenge on the man! HA! SERVES HIM RIGHT! only to find out in the morning that GASPS it was his twin brother?;!(?? now keiji, sober and absolutely mortified, has to find a way to make it up to osamu,,, and offers tutor him… and it’s a rollercoaster ride from there

ANYWAY just wanted to share!! IT MIGHT BE UP YOUR ALLEY!!

oh hell yeah, i read this!!! this was such a very fun read!!! and the sequel was also very *waggles eyebrows*

this was very fun, i really could not stop smiling while reading this as well as reading the sequel. they're such idiots (more akaashi than osamu ........but well, osamu should have clarified too.... they're both idiots lmao)

One thing that I really loved about The Contest Between was how the author describes when Akaashi laughs at what Osamu does or say. Their dynamics in this fic is somehow isn’t new but it’s very refreshing (maybe it’s the age gap for me). i have been screaming. Osaaka is so lucky to have masterpieces like this.

for me, anon, to add on what you said about how their dynamics in this fic isn't new but refreshing is how they handled their arguments. like how they come down from the disagreement and talking to diffuse the situation. and i love how the author handled osamu's temper here. bc he does have one, if you push the right buttons to get him there lmao

and with akaashi's insistence on a topic that osamu flat out says "lol dont want to talk about it" he would eventually explode hhahah

but they're quick to forgive each other, it's just a matter of being patient with each other and coming to terms with 'oh shit i was in the wrong here this time'

IT'S JUST SO NEAT. LOTS OF THINGS TO LOVE

and akaashi's gay panic moments are always a good time. love my boy getting flustered from the littlest things he thinks he could have handled better.
