There's so much cringe in this photo. The awkward balancing, the framing, the lack of skincare routine... But it describes what I've been working on lately. My current project involved writing a very raw, very personal script that delves into where I've been as a teen, as a younger adult, how my viewpoints have radically changed. Opening that part of myself with writing has been hard, it's been painful, but it's lead to growth. When I was 14, I was every bit as passionate and radical as I am today, but I was radical about all the wrong things. I was a very conservative and passionate prolifer back then. I was homophobic. I was sexist. I'm not proud of who that girl was and she had her redeeming qualities, but I've grown into someone that I am glad to be and I hope that my 14 year old self would be proud of who I've become. Anyways, I'm excited to write this and see where the production leads if it goes anywhere at all. . . . . . #queer #queerfilmmaker #formerjerk #wokeaf #fierceaf #hirethesewomen #femalefilmmakerfriday #writerlife #livethestory #screenwriter #selfimprovement #sapphic #thefutureisfemale #childhoodtrauma #writerlife #resentment #imsorry #cringefest #asiancreativenetwork #asianmentalhealth https://www.instagram.com/p/CHpCKRqHKJj/?igshid=zi42tvju6b4e
