Mum said she wasn’t hungry so she just watch me eating my All Day Special (S$17.90) at Astons Specialities. The plate came with a piece of grilled chicken which you select from one of the seven available flavours. I chose the fiery chicken flavour which incidentally isn’t as spicy as it was meant to be. Also comes with six Vienna sausages and scrambled egg plus you get to choose two side dishes to go along. I opted for the house salad and potato wedges.

It is the weekend and mum’s not cooking so we went to feast at her favourite Astons Specialities. We usually visited the restaurant early to avoid the peak dinner hour’s crowds. Mum always picked the same Crispy Fried Fish (S$11.50) with the same old side dishes of potato wedges 🍟 and tasty rice.

As for me, I went for the All Day Special (S$17.90) where I get to choose the choice of the grilled chicken’s flavour. Picked the Fiery Chicken with the same two sides as my mum. My plate also comes with Vienna sausages and scrambled egg.

Boarded the free shuttle bus to Sembawang Shopping Centre for some grocery shopping and dinner. We usually go to Astons Specialities for an early dinner before proceeding to Giant Hypermarket. Mum stuck to her Crispy Fried Fish with the Potato Wedges and Tasty Rice.

I went for Double Up Chicken, choosing Crispy Fried Chicken and Fiery Chicken along with Garden Veggie and Potato Wedges for the sides.
