Sis was dining out with her friend at Fu Lee Seafood (富俐海鮮) and offered to pack for me dinner. She bought a small portion of Yang Zhou Fried Rice (扬州炒饭) which came with a substantial amount of rice. The char siu, imitation crabstick and egg fried rice got that irresistible wok hei (锅气) or “breath of the wok”. I added some kimchi and pickled daikon to go with it. The Thai Salad Pork Chop (泰式沙律肉扒) was soaked (not that I minded) in a creamy, sweet and spicy salad dressing. The boneless pork is so tender and succulent which paired well with the fragrant fried rice.
