really, he shouldn’t  have  even  BEEN  there. it was a waste of time —— a pointless detour. dropping by on a whim had evolved into an invitation for tea, which had in turn ended in. . . this.      ( whatever this was. ) sitting around, engaging in idle chatter was  a  LUXURY scaramouche typically found himself all too happy to avoid —— at least when he didn’t stand to gain anything from it.      ( valuable intel, or even the simple pleasure of antagonizing someone. as a treat. ) yet judging by the position of the sun in that farce of a sky, they had whittled away a substantial amount of time talking about. . . what? FIREWORKS?

ah. . . that was a little scary. the feeling taking  ROOT  in  his  chest edged dangerously close to something genuine.      ( camaraderie, was it? how strange. ) it was probably best to nip that one in the bud —— yoimiya didn’t know the  TRUTH  of  who  she  was  speaking  with. the sixth knew from experience others were hardly so quick to welcome a harbinger with open arms. why would she be different?

. . . and in any case, the  things  he  WISHED  for weren’t suited for fireworks.

i’ve been lying to you. five words —— it would have been so  EASY  to  say. no, nothing. an even simpler alternative.      ( and really, it wasn’t like he was a stranger to avoiding things. ) yet instead of voicing either, scaramouche merely hummed thoughtfully under his breath. fingers traced idle patterns on his cup —— then brought it to his lips to mimic taking a sip, even if its contents had been long  since  DRAINED  completely. stalling. he was stalling.      ( why did he feel the need to do something like that? ) finally, indigo hues flicked up to settle upon the other’s countenance. quietly, the sixth wondered if she suspected anything —— that he  wasn’t  who  he  CLAIMED  to  be. certainly his resemblance to the electro archon was difficult to miss, for starters.

❝ . . . actually, yes. ❞ he tapped his cheek. ❝ you have something on your  FACE. ❞ a smudge of soot, or. . . what? in either case, it made for a convenient distraction.

     kokomi’s fingers intertwine with one another almost shyly as yoimiya praises her ; while she’s no stranger to praise from her allies , to hear it from one she could consider a friend always makes a faint crimson creep up onto her cheeks . of course , she does her utmost to hide this from the other , attempting to coat her embarrassment with a chuckle & the waving of her hands .

Extra ! ;   Although i believe we don´t have yet Yoimi.ya´s voicelines, Kazuha does have one voiceline in which he mentions her! we don´t know if he knows her personally or is just aware of her from afar but the first idea that crossed my mind was perhaps them meeting during one of the shipments for fireworks like how he mentions in his voice lines! there are a lot of ways in which they could meet tbh ! 

In terms of personality, from my Kazoo´s side, i feel like their personalities seem to be a little contrasting? i read that she is very cheerful and joyful! accompanying children to find little treasures and the such + being an innocent kind of character vs Kazoo who is much more reserved and calm spirited, someone who has his fair share of stories from his travels, yet is aware that alongside the beauty of adventures, one must keep an eye open and an open heart in order to see and listen to the little clues nature gives about danger and the such. Personally the first thought that came to mind would be that perhaps because of Yoimiya´s personality and way of being, it would help Kazuha open up a little more ? In any case, there are a lot of posibilities indeedy ! it helps a lot that she is from Inazuma as well, so YEAH!
