gonna declare an indefinite hiatus for the time being. life just got real fucking stressful and i’m just not in the headspace to deal wtih tumblr. it was already like pulling teeth to get anything going on a blog before my temporary hiatus in october, and i don’t imagine it’s going to be any easier now. especially with my mental health going down the drain, i feel like actively trying to be here is just gonna make that even worse. i’ll still be around on discord and we can write on there if y’all want (evie belle.#2872, just let me know if you’re adding me!), but for now i probs won’t do more than pop in now and then here. love y’all, hope you’re doing well & that we can keep in touch via discord. ♥

Emotion-based magic is just...10/10. Characters causing destruction in a rage, only to be horrified by what they’ve done? Excellent. Characters being ten times stronger when someone they love is in danger? Wonderful. Characters claiming they don’t care, yet their magic says otherwise? Perfect.

#the last one = when manek very suddenly gets killed by an icicle after nearly killing liir #oopsie.....#but yes elphaba's magic is VERY emotion based #i don't think there's a single instance of them using magic either in the musical or the book #where it's not because they got upset or something #except giving the monkeys their wings but that's it #about.
