Arranging everything was a pain in the ass. For one thing, Krakoa wasn’t about to let one of The Five off of the island. For another, it really wasn’t exactly friendly to anyone that could potentially claim the last name ‘Maximoff’. It takes a week of working at Charles, at Jean, at Ororo before he gets enough worked out to get permission, to make sure the gate wouldn’t shut him out, and then another three days to make sure there was a few hours where Josh would be free.
“This is a bad idea,” Laurie warned him, and David rolled his eyes because she didn’t know him.
“This is a horrible idea,” Nori said when David explained what he was going to do, and David ignored her because Nori was just annoyed that David had a new speedster in his life.
“This is going to be hilarious,” Teddy grinned as he stood by the gate, watching Tommy bounce from foot to foot, ready to be through the portal.
“Oh god. What have I done?” David asked himself not three minutes later when Josh started telling Tommy about that one time at the academy with the pigeons.
