I just wanted to let you know that I often come back to the scene in fighter where she falls asleep on Jimin while cuddling. I've been reading fanfic for years and have never leaned to towards purely fluff content, but that was a gateway into it and now lone wolf is a huge comfort fic for me and I come and check in regularly and get all cosy to read it.

😭😭😭 that's such a cute scene! I'm 99% sure @beastie-writes was responsible for that particular moment of softness, so i will make sure she sees this!! I'm really glad it was such a comforting moment for you 😍

I know what you mean. You might have noticed I'm not much for purely fluff either. I much prefer my comfort to come with some hurt. It's just sweeter to me that way. At least in fiction. I hope your real life is full of comfort and no hurt.

1) lone wolf is unbelievable i am obsessed

i love the characters i love the complexity of the problems they face and i LOVE the rawness of their emotions

i read the first 7 chapters after coming across the teaser for chapter 8 and YELLED about it to my friend for literally 2 hours on a road trip then just caught up on chapters 8 and 9

I am SO excited for more

I cannot believe mc drove her brother to the house and that was THE DAY (or around the same day) as when yoongi and jimin moved to the other house

i also loved jimin’s internal “i need to scent her before she leaves so she smells like us”

and when i tell you i screamed when i put two and two together that you had also written fighter?!?!!

fighter was THE FIRST bts series fanfic i ever read back in december (i think i had skimmed a jk one shot and maybe something else that was short) but fighter was the first fic that made me want to read multi chapter series with bts members as characters in someone else’s world. i was immediately drawn in by the incredible layers and storytelling plus the tension,,,, it was funny, sexy, charming, enticing, and very very human

but i hadn’t made my bts reblog blog yet and didn’t have a good way to save your blog or fics, so i lost it in my likes. i literally have been thinking about it, you, and your writing for months and am SO. HAPPY. to have found you again!!!

i’m not sure if you have plans to continue fighter (this is not a pressure ask by any means!!) but i am so so so excited to follow your lone wolf updates and read everything else you’ve written 🥰 i’m literally on cloud nine i am so glad to have found you again!! i hope you are doing well thank you for sharing your writing with the world 💜💜💜

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your patience! Our intention is to absolutely finish Fighter. It’s one of my favorite stories too. The reason for not updating falls on me. And for that I’m really sorry. Everything is okay, so you don’t need to worry. To be honest, some really great things have happened and allowing space and time in my life to appreciate those things is part of what is causing the delay. I expect that I’ll have more free time in the coming months so hopefully we’ll be able to go back to regular updates. I just can’t guarantee when that will be for sure. Until then, thank you all for enjoying Fighter and supporting this blog. It means the world to us. I hope many wonderful things are happening in your lives too. We miss you and we can’t wait until we can share more of our story with you!

As for me, I'm used to writing love stories that i an obsessed with and the only love story i am obsessed with right now is my own!! But I'm sure once beastie gets going again I will stop being distracted and be able to pick it back up! I really miss being active on this blog and i regret not being able to post new stuff for you. So if they are so toxic and so bad for each other why are we supposed to keep rooting for them? Like I get you have to build a narrative but you've made Taehyung into an out and out bad guy who seems like the worst kind of guy ever and shouldn't be anywhere near Val so are what's the point of the story being 0T7? Why not just make it Yoongi/OFC and have done? I'm not saying Tae has done everything right but so far Hobi/Jimin/Jin don't feature at all, JK just seems like he wants to sleep with the hot new girl, Namjoon is lurking and Tae is apparently the worst boyfriend in the world and completely toxic to and with Val but Yoongi is there falling in love cos he gave her a sleeping pill???? I honestly don't get whybi should care this is an 0T7 story when 3 out of 7 barely feature, 2 of them probs just want to sleep with her and the other 2 love her but 1 of them is the devil.

If you've read my stories before, you should know I'm a huge fan of redemption arcs. Like, i think i do them in every story. I always give the boys a redemption, even if they've been the world's biggest jerks. So maybe just have a little faith that its coming, but we're nowhere near the end. Root for them or dont. Absolutely do root for Yoongi, bc he's the best. And also, maybe root for Val to grow and change and become a more mature and caring person. She's never had a mature and caring person in her life, so cut her some slack.

As for the others, they're coming. It was important to us that they each have a distinct personality and a different type of relationship with her. But by all means, please stop reading at any point.

"But her lies did not end in Taehyung getting kidnapped and raped and involved in a world he was trying to escape." ......neither did Taehyungs 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ their lies have nothing to do with what happened to Val that was happening way before Tae came into the picture. I don't think people are piling on Val but people have a right to feel a certain type of way about her reaction to Taes lies when she hasn't been telling the truth either......taking out the assault that happened (after she had already decided to leave Tae BTW) People are entitled to be mad at Val and still be able to feel some sympathy for her and what she's been through but don't ask us not to see her as a victim and then use her life experiences as an easy out for being a shitty person.....she can still be the hero and be just as toxic as Tae and she not still be called out for doing shitty things 🙄🙄 (could also point out that no one, not us as readers or Bangtan know what happened when she was with the boss man) this is probably why people are so confused with the story, your opinion changes on an ask to ask basis so how are we supposed to know what the hell to think?

Well, she did get kidnapped because of Taehyung and if she had found out early on what he was involved with she wouldn't have carried on with him, but that doesnt even really matter, to be honest.

Val does know that she lied to him, thats why she says their whole love was a lie. Because she was lying, pretending to be someone who she wanted to be but not who she was. And she doesnt want to love him if he's in this life bc she desperately wants out of it, but that doesn't mean she doesn't, or won't.

Val is definitely toxic, no one here is denying that. By all means, be mad at her, you can even hate her if you want.

It's not my job as a writer to tell you the reader what to think. My job is to tell the story in the way I envision it and nothing more. Your opinions and feelings are valid in as much as they are your own. You may disagree with the authors, and thats perfectly okay. It's okay for characters and plots to be mysterious or even, at times, confusing; that's how complex stories are built and plot twists happen.

I dont think we're being flighty in our opinions or responses. I think we're just trying to be open to your ideas and answer without giving things away bc there's joy in watching a story unfold. And, maybe, at the end of the day, we're a big fan of the nuance in life and ability of people to be complex and contradictory.

I LOVE this reaction soooooo much, this story got everyone talking amd i love how everyone has different takeaways and opinions on what's happening some are team misery and angst some are here for the love, some love Val and some don't, some are team violence and gangster and some are team lovey dovey ALL this conversation is when you KNOW the story is amazing. Love them or hate them THEY GOT YOU TALKING. Keep it up I'm loving reading all the different opinions on this.

This fanfic has everything: ot7, gangsters, trauma, the sweetest most gentle min yoongi ever, that thing that happens when when you whiplash your audience into a whole new genre, daddy kinks, spanking, oppa faux pas, Y/n knowing how to kick your ass and more...
