If I were to rename these, they'd be Glabillus, Mogallus, and Gapillus, respectively.

Glabillus/Torchic is based on a featherless chicken. Mogallus/Combusken is based on a chicken that just happens to be really really fluffy, wherease Gapillus/Blaziken is based on a Silkie.

I would imagine these having Snow Cloak as a hidden ability. Their non-hidden ability would go Dry Skin -> Big Pecks -> Fur Coat.

I like this line to come back on because it really served as an exercise in figuring out what to cut and what to add without making things too involved.

Torchic has the colors of Scizor, but uses no other sprites. Combusken has wings from Archen. Blaziken uses parts from Combusken and Rufflet.

Fighting Fire || Open

Smoke and yelling as everyone tried to get clear of the flames. A forest fire, the cause currently unknown, was wreaking havoc. Sonic and his friends were called in to help get everyone out before the fire got too dangerous to be near without protective gear. Tails, Amy, Sonic, and Silver where all busy getting people to safety!

Though not everyone was out of the forest yet, which meant search and rescue!

Tails flew over head in the Tornado to guide Sonic through the patches of burning plant life to those still trapped inside the forest. 

Sonic zooms past the blazing embers and smoke to a house surrounded by closing in flames. 

“Hey! You need to get out of there! Hurry up! The fire’s gonna be here any-!” He turns around when a loud boom shakes the area... a tree had fallen from the blaze... and now there was no way out.

Eugene Hurtubise of Peterboro is the man, the contraption he invented is the brigade. At the turn of a tap, water gushed from five fog nozzles and a hand hose in the suit. A hose to a water-main supplies the water, another to a machine brings in air. He spent two years making the firesuit.

SO HEAVY is the fire and waterproof suit it’s slipped over the head from a cord on an overhead pulley. Demonstrating it, the inventor walked into a raging inferno, had the flames out in a minute and a half. He swore he felt cold while standing in the midst of the fire.

RESCUING PEOPLE is the main idea, says Hurbubise, former Canadian heavy-weight wrestling champion. He he lifts Emmett Kylie up to his own height - six foot, three.

THE FIRESUIT IN ACTION, the flames meet their match. The nozzles are on the head, both his shoulders, at back and front of the waist. The demonstration ave Hurtubise at least one idea for improving the suit - a windshield wiper for the face. Firefighting officials termed the show a complete success.
