Had to start this post of with those incredible fried green tomatoes! The Spotted Dog in Chapel Hill is such a good vegetarian/vegan place! Also: wicked queer. 

They have a full vegan menu but look at this dish is on their regular dinner menu.

our house-made 5-cheese blend baked with NC natural chicken or NC soy chicken, celery, diced red onion, diced tomato, green bell pepper, & buffalo sauce - topped with bacon (soy or pork), house-made bread crumbs, & bleu cheese crumbles

veganize it with our house-made Miyoko's based cheese blend & vegan shredded cheese for 4

DAMN. Like, it’s as good as it sounds (maybe better?) so please take all of my money and let me order it again. Miyoko’s cheese! Ugh. I’m ruined. 

Flowers in a trough is my favorite Spring vibe.
