Just last year this time, my nephew @fightwithjaylan and I were enjoying BBQ sammiches, fries and snow cones watching @houstontexans 🏈 #camp activities and practices...💯 Today, when most 11 yr olds are starting 6th grade classes in person or online virtually, he's @texaschildrens preparing for surgery. Last week after having a colonoscopy and biopsy done, it was discovered that Jaylan has Stage 4 Germ Cell Cancer which has spread to his stomach, liver and lungs. Please keep my sis @nikkilew1987 in your prayers, a single mother of 3 going through a time such as this definitely can take it's toll on you as a parent... and as #family we are with her and the kids every step of the way.
