The Original Journey Into Imagination with Dreamfinder and Figment perfectly captured the best of classic Disney and EPCOT Center charm!

When EPCOT Center opened in 1982 at Walt Disney World, the Imagination Pavilion became a n instant hit! It perfectly captured the inspirational and aspirational tone of classic epcot while also fully capturing the whimsical and magical feeling of classic Disney rides! But this attraction only exists because of a series of projects from famed imagineer Tony Baxter fell apart. Professor Marvel from Discovery Bay plus his original balloon ride from the first pitch of the Land Pavilion were both unbuilt attractions and from those roots Journey into Imagination grew! A true passion project by a legendary creative mind.

I usually have a really hard time drawing Figment... so I made him a human!! or a human design for him. Human-Dragon hybrid or he’s just wearing a tail and wings to be cute. either way, he’s adorable.
