So I was thinking of redrawing some of my older illustration and sharing them on this account. This is a new illustration but not a redraw, however I do have a drawing from SGRB that I do really wanna re-illustrate. I’m not sure how many folks are still interested in sgrb but I still adore these robos so hopefully this makes someone’s day.

I went for a pov perspective cause it just felt more fun to do something more close up versus what I did in my 2022 version. I remember back then that I hadn’t draw the characters aside from sketches so my goal was to make something cool-looking. Idk if taking a selfie is really cool but I was proud back then for drawing the robot brothers because robots aren’t really something I draw usually. Also I still don’t know how to draw a phone. I just base it off my own lol.

Saw everyone making human designs for the brothers and I felt compelled to make one too. Welp, more like a redesign because I technically already did back in like 2021 or something. I only drew them in civilian clothes though, so it was fun tryna make their suits.

Some elaboration about the design choices:

• I gave Shiny white streak because I assume that the Ort portal would cause side effects on the human body. I HC Shiny would be 31 when he comes back but his appearance makes it look like he is 40-45. I also gave him long hair (another side effect) and cause I think he would forget to cut it.

• Thunder never really takes off his helmet. He pretty much lives in his suit so that he is always ready for action. Imagine power-rangers or spider-man or iron man (gonna have to make him a comic book nerd now)

I really hope that in some way that Caine can come back but I’m prepare in assuming that he won’t. Other than that, I too am not the immune to the trend right now of Kinger comforting Caine.

I’m somewhat surprise that the cast, let’s say, strongly disliked Caine but not Kinger? I know it wasn’t his intention to get others trapped in the digital circus but he still was a part of its creation. Maybe it’ll be explored in episode 9 but I’ll find it a little crazy if none of the other circus members don’t feel indifferent about Kinger. Especially now that he is no longer in a daze and can be technically held accountable.

I got a little sidetracked but I finally got around to redrawing my mega old kratt bro drawing (ÓwÒ) Tis was mi favorite show as a young lad… Funny enough their older tv show scared me as a kid. It kinda still does… that lemur scares me… (2/?)

Now to enlighten nobody about the historic enrich history of this ✨artistic piece✨

I had art block from what I remember, and so it influenced the different style approach. This piece also reminded myself about including a boarder around the characters to help make them stand out. I’m not really sure when I stop doing that but maybe I’ll bring it back. Also I drew the original on my old iPad mini so unfortunately I don’t have the illustration saved anywhere besides instagram. Womp Womp me :p
