It’s 91 degrees and glorious outside but today is another fully packed day of work to finish up pieces + produce some “fruit” that will allow me to enjoy many other 91 degree days — preferably in PR but for now, LA will do! 😂 This work in progress is in its obvious “ugly” stage. Weeks have passed and I don’t entirely remember my thought process when it comes to her dress. Nor can I find the reference photo I used. So, the finished product will just have to come from my imagination and memory. This is a horrid sketch on my part, but we all know how beauty is birthed.... ⠀ ⠀ I now accept pre-orders. This is a new process but it seems to work for both myself and more importantly — you (the buyer). Plus, I’m a strong believer in knowing when something is yours, when a piece speaks to you there’s a reason.⠀ This is from my continued Bomba y plena series, 5”x 7” oil on linen/mdf panel. Thin enough to be framed beautifully.⠀ ⠀ Back to work. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #Godisgood #caribbeanart #artistsofinstagram #figuerativeart #oiloncanvas #bombapuertorriqueña #blackart #nycartists #losangelesartist #afrolatino #puertorico #nycart #galleryart #curator #artcurator #newyorkcityartist #losangelesart (at Eagle Rock, Los Angeles) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4qPHfVBu34/?igshid=jtbgaqmp9bu9
