"I think being an artist has many challenges and for me one of the main ones is not allowing others thoughts to dictate how your work should look or feel. I think in this time with social media it’s very easy to be consumed by the thoughts of others and feel that your work isn’t good enough if it’s not receiving enough “likes”. Another challenge is being able to be satisfied or happy with your creations. I find that I’m al ways finding something wrong in a piece or I find it hard to know when it’s time to stop. Also not letting the art obsession take over and finding time to do other things separate from art every now and then."
