this whole fs season has made me an ilia centrist (used to be a bit of a hater i’m sorry 😞) bc the ISU really nailed it in that they’re just using him as the poster boy and i feel bad for him

and i loved when all three medallists at worlds basically said the new rule changes were shit like iktr

also getting into a little rant but can people PLEASE be normal about skaters and not act like the fucking paparazzi when they see them in public?? i saw that clip of people crowding him in the elevator and i felt so bad for him

all that being said i still hate the overscoring (albeit i more so blame the federations and the ISU for letting that happen) and i hope to see ilia’s skating skills improve (his galas have shown that it’s possible!!)

I feel like everytime Yuzu and Javi are having a really emotional moment and hugging it all out, Jin Boyang is always there in the background third-wheeling real hard😄😄

Same with Shoma tho. Both are prefessional third-wheelers😂

✨✨✨✨ OMG. HAPPY TEARS. I AM SO PROUD. Congratulations Yuzuru Hanyu 🇯🇵 (🥇) and Shoma Uno 🇯🇵 (🥈). Stellar performances! JAPAN dominates Figure Skating Men, once again. ✨✨✨✨ 🎌🇯🇵️

Special mention to Fernandez 🇪🇸 (Yuzuru's biggest rival, greatest friend AND ice-skating family did AMAZING, always a delight!), Jin 🇨🇳️ (go China, so consistent!!), Chen 🇺🇸 (brilliant come-back, 17th to 5th, that beautiful free-skate and historic 6 quads!!), Zhou 🇺🇸 (that bump from 12th to 6th overall), and all other skaters who participated. Thank you for showing us such incredible performances, you've all made your countries proud!

Last but definitely not least, the one and only Julian Yee ️🇲🇾️, thank you for making Malaysia sing with pride: For being the first Malaysian figure skater to ever step on the Olympic rink, you've already set a tremendous history for all of us in the country. I have been a fan since I witnessed your beautiful performance in the 2017 Sea Games at MyNiss, I was stunned, that Malaysia had such a talent! I wish I had heard about you sooner. Thank you for your dedication and hardwork. You did SO WELL. #MalaysiaBoleh #JulianBoleh ✨✨✨ 🇲🇾️
