A mix of figure photos I took at home and at Descanso Gardens, on 3/18/2025, 4/12/2025, and 4/15/2025.

Threw together the photos I've been using for my desktop slideshow lately, for a slapdash vid. Also to give me something to experiment with, since I'm still new to video editing and posting to YouTube. Includes draft photos from photoshoots, and not just my finalized favorites.

Demonstrating a Piyokuru figure's gimmick.

Making this video to reply to a random Tweet that the algorithm put onto my timeline. It finally got me to drill a hole into my useless phone stand, to make it into the tripod attachment I've needed desperately.

Let it not be said that just because I hate Akechi and AkeShu, that I would not help out their fans.

I wasn't sure whether to get their hopes up or not, with Good Smile Company's form for figure requests and rerelease requests. Because when I looked into Piyokuru again, after all these years, it looked like Good Smile had stopped making ANY Piyokuru. It seemed to have become one of their dead figure lines. Like Pocket Maquette and Nendoroid Co-de.

But maybe if Piyokuru got enough requests, then maybe Good Smile Company would start making them again. I could see Persona5 Royal and their Phantom Thief versions as a good excuse to make another set of Persona5 Piyokuru. Maybe I will tell that AkeShu fan that Good Smile is actively reminding people about their request form again. Maybe they can get their AkeShu Piyokuru after all.

....though, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Ironic that toy manufacturers will spend so much effort to market to adult collectors, then get mad when we play with those toys.

I mean, I UNDERSTAND some companies want to keep a squeaky clean image, because that's their target brand image. But why not piggyback off the exposure, to direct people towards the sanitized brand image that you want? Hasn't that been successful for some other companies before?

Also, has Robot Chicken ever been sued like this?
