okay I searched back on your blog to see if you’ve already covered this and didn’t technically find exactly what I was looking for but please feel free to let me know if I just missed it! :] but okay so - I know Elenion and Tara get along great and have a lot of love for one another, but I’m curious if you have any more in-depth imaginings as to what their relationship is like!

ahh so that's how you found an ask about elenion from 2024 haha. for the record that ask was from my good friend @nerdalmighty who technically got me into bg3 by spamming it all over my dash and was basically the only person i wasn't too nervous to explain elenion's story to back then! also, elenion would never be caught dead wearing the goofy bard outfit you get from volo like i had him wearing in the screenshot from that ask. i just didn't have good clothing mods yet so i put him in whatever had good stats.

anyway, you're right that i haven't talked in-depth about elenion and tara omg!! admittedly i've thought a lot more about elenion's relationship with morena (and then also never talked about all that. oops.) but this was a good chance to think about tara. 💙 i've barely used her at all in my fics and i should really find more ways to include her. this got long so i'll put it under a cut.

if a tav who romanced gale talks to tara in the epilogue party, you'll both be surprised to see each other there—it seems to be the case that she spends more time living with morena post-game, and also that withers regularly meets up with the two of them for lunch which is hilarious. tara will then comment on how busy you're keeping gale, lol. i'll actually just share the dialogue in case you or anyone who reads this hasn't seen it before:

first thought i had literally just now: elenion and tara bond over being driven absolutely insane by gale's messiness and terrible organization habits. they chat and gossip while len cleans up the study and rearranges the bookshelves for the 80th time. tara can fill in as his new gossip buddy while astarion is in avernus with karlach!

it is canon for them that tara is jealous at first and needs to be reminded that he isn't trying to steal gale though, haha! and i do think it makes sense for tara to start spending more time with morena, especially after gale and elenion get their pet bunny moonbow, but she still flies by and checks in constantly and spends the night there sometimes.

i think when len first moved into the tower, tara kept getting her fur all over his nice, clean, folded clothes purely out of spite. but now she naps on his laundry and other things of his because she's decided she likes his scent, but she won't admit it. also, the bunny—in one of my fics i mentioned that len wanted to get a bird but would've lived in constant fear of tara eating it, but luckily rabbits seemed beneath her notice. i wrote this because... i somehow forgot that cats will also eat rabbits so i needed to justify it. but actually, i've now decided that tara won't eat moonbow and wouldn't have eaten a pet bird either, even if part of her really really wants to (because cat instincts + i think initially she's jealous of all the attention the new pet is getting), simply because she loves elenion and gale and that would hurt them. so she restrains herself and pretends not to pay moonbow any attention.

i also think tara and morena both really, really, really want grandchildren and want gale and elenion to adopt but elenion doesn't want to take care of kids. he likes them, and likes visiting the kids halsin takes care of in reithwin, he just doesn't want to have any. gale is, of course, fully on his husband's side and tara grumbles about it but ultimately respects their decision.

(side note, there's a lot of post-canon things i've never really decided on for the other companions. ngl, part of this is due to my indecisiveness about what ships to make "canon". i almost hinted at both shadowzel and a wyll/astarion/karlach polycule in one fic and then changed my mind. but if wyll eventually has lily aurora then elenion will love her and she'll grow up thinking he and gale are her uncles, which might as well be true. same thing would apply to lae'zel and xan. i do think this would make tara and morena happy!)

elenion definitely also starts joining tara, morena, and withers for lunch and tea more frequently. he learns how to pet her the same way gale does it. and she sometimes curls up in his lap when he's stressed or upset. 💙

I’d like to ask #37 from the oc asks? :] but to clarify a lil further since obviously, being fantasy-based, a lot of your characters are decidedly not human - are there any characters of yours that sort of “pass” as human but aren’t? ^u^ have some kind of secret trait/power/etc that makes them not quite human?

37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human

That will be Valdamerca!! She's the goddess of the night in Paravastora universe, but her human-like form is not her true form :) I think that she's more like a shape-shifter, and she's so fluid and ever-changing that she can't really identify one form as a True one. Not that she needs it, tbh. She's the embodiment of the night sky and darkness, so she's basically some cosmic horror entity, lol. Btw, Saikal isn't quite human as well. She DOES have some secret trait 👀 But I will reveal the details a bit later, it's a major spoiler for now hehe.

I really wanna know about the three boyfriends! ;u; what is their dynamic like within their relationship? does one always cook, someone else always clean, and the third always get groceries? or do they trade around jobs like that? rank them from most to least emotional pls and tell me what each of their go-to drinks are at a bar

AHHHH tysm for asking omg i'm so glad you've taken an interest to them! apologies if i write WAYYY too much i am... very talkative when it comes to these guys heh.

i was gonna write it in a kinda q&a format but i ended up going on a few tangents so it's just a big wall of ramblings... hopefully it's not too hard to read, i tried to paragraph it in a way that makes sense.

matí is (at the latest point in the timeline) very new to the polycule; keyo and dmitri have been dating since mid-2015 and matí only came into the equation in late 2024. matí was dmitri's professional dance partner when he went on strictly come dancing (they won!) and they ended up having what matí was expecting to be a quick fling, but they both fell head over heels for each other. the relationship became long distance after the competition ended because dmitri went back to brighton to live with keyo again, but matí ended up moving in with them because they missed each other a lot. for a while it was just keyo and matí separately dating dmitri and not having any romantic relationship with each other, but they did eventually develop a connection.

keyo is really quiet and doesn't talk much outside of his work (he's a twitch streamer) so he tends to just sit in comfortable silence with them, while matí and dmitri are both super talkative in different ways. dmitri is brash and loud and sarcastic, always joking around, whereas matí is more mellow and friendly.

matí is always the first to wake up in the morning (he wakes up at 6AM like a maniac normal person) so he gets the majority of the chores done early in the morning, including the grocery shopping, emptying the bins, making breakfast, etc. before dmitri and keyo have even woken up. dmitri wakes up anywhere from 11AM-2PM whereas keyo wakes up at 2-4PM no matter what time he went to bed. matí doesn't mind doing the chores at all as he likes caring for them as much as he can; both keyo and dmitri have a history of mental health issues and even though they're a lot better than they used to be, matí still wants to take that weight off of them as much as he can. dmitri handles their finances and bakes often, as well as arranging social events and stuff like that. keyo's in charge of making sure dmitri remembers to take his meds, and also helps dmitri write and produce his music. he feels kinda bad about not doing much around the house but matí and dmitri try to reassure him that he doesn't Need to do anything ^^

they alternate dinner cooking duty and have a rotary on the fridge: matí: monday and thursday dmitri: tuesday, friday and saturday keyo: sunday and wednesday

i know you didn't ask but i'm throwing it out there anyway; matí is the big spoon, dmitri is the middle spoon and keyo is the little spoon. usually. sometimes they swap around, especially if someone's had a rough day -- then they'll usually go in the middle.

ranking them from most to least emotional, generally it goes dmitri -> matí -> keyo. as for their go-to pub drinks, keyo likes apple cider, matí likes peach margarita, and dmitri likes either rum or vodka & coke.

I went through your tags and found some art for a character named Leo who’s a werewolf? ^^ that story looks super interesting, is that something you’re still working on?

He’s honestly one of my favourite characters but I’m always worried because there’s so much story now I never know where to start

In his story Leo’s a popular boy bitten by a traveling werewolf pack who are looking to turn charismatic new members. Unfortunately it turns out Leo already has magic blood, and this world different kinds of magic don’t combine very well, leading to his transformations being very dangerous and not very werewolf-y

The pack agrees to help and they travel around seeking out the magical underground world for information and maybe a cure?

This is an old scene sketch comic of Leo meeting Lynx (another OC from this world) that I don’t think I ever posted anywhere

I hope someday I can make a proper comic of it all but I’m not very good at them yet!

hehe why am i not surprised you asked for that 💖 i still have asks in my inbox you sent a while ago that i fully intend to answer, but this made me start picturing something in my mind immediately. it's 176 words so close enough!

Elenion crouched over the display, brows furrowed as he rearranged a set of miniature sculptures—and then immediately started fiddling with it again. "Are you still rearranging that same exhibit?" Gale asked, watching from the doorway. "I quite liked how you had it half an hour ago." "No, it looked awful then and it still does... the layout's all wrong... Maybe I should just scrap the whole idea..." Gale leaned beside Elenion and rested his hand on his shoulder. "Oh, pish posh. It's perfect. You're overth—" Elenion chuckled into their hand. Before Gale could even finish his sentence, they grabbed his collar and pulled him into a mischievous kiss, laughter bubbling up into it as they pressed close. Soon, they were giggling against Gale's lips as they kissed him. "Len—!" Gale's eyes widened, and he huffed out a soft laugh. "You're a menace." "Me? You're the one who just said pish posh while I was obsessing over this silly museum exhibit." Gale shook his head with a fond smile, then leaned in to kiss Elenion's cheek.
