New Ko-fi tiers!

I've never liked Patreon's minimum tier pricing — I get why they do it, but times are tough, and asking people to pay five dollars a month for a few comic pages feels like a big ask, even with all the extras added in. I'm not leaving Patreon, it's a great platform and I genuinely appreciate what they do for creators and I love each and every one of my supporters— I just wanted to be able to offer something more accessible alongside it.

So I've set up Ko-fi tiers that I think actually are!

$1/month — Hi-res and uncensored (where that's applicable, don't get too excited! It won't happen often) pages, so you can see all the weird little details that get shrunk down in the web-sized version, or just to throw a little support to a free comic you enjoy! The dream is to do this full time at 2–3 pages a week, of course, but we're a good while off from that. Getting there means building the support to make it possible! If it happens, this tier gets those pages early, same as the $3 tier.

$3/month — Hi-res, uncensored pages plus the same extras I post on Patreon: full-page timelapses, lore bits, sneak peeks when I can share them without being too spoilery (including the parts of the novel i can share without ruining the plot), and a little more of the behind-the-scenes personal stuff. (First-generation internet kid here — we learned early not to overshare in public places!)

The comic will always be free. This is just for anyone who wants to chip in and get a little something back for it — and in return you get the undying gratitude of myself, my family, and our house full of rescue creatures. (And probably CareCredit too, as I continue paying off my massive vet bill.)

"I was watching the TV late at night when suddenly my lights went off. I live alone and I definitely heard the sound of the switch and turn the lights on again. Then when I went to sit to keep doing what I was doing I found this and the lights went off. Guess whoever is staying on my apartment doesn't like lights at all (at least not at that time of the night. At least my electricity bill dropped this month"

After such a depressing drawing featuring my, NINAH OC, The Waitress/Yolanda, I wanted to draw a happier scene. This time she and the Protagonist together.

Long story short: Yolanda is escaping from a harsh situation that got worse with the cataclysm, so she decided to stay at the homeowner's place. She quickly feels sympathy for him and then she falls in love, though she decides to keep her feelings to herself thinking her love would be unrequited because of how recently they met, but also because she doesn't consider herself attractive enough to get his interest.

I like to think she has different routes, just like the protagonist and in one of them, they do fall in love with each other and manage to build a happy relationship as the protagonist works on himself and learn to live a less lonely existence and The Waitress works on her self esteem and traumas.

"I heard a noise in the hallway of my apartment complex. I'm new, and I've been told by some people that is nothing, but a noisy neighbour. I still had to let the trash out, so I had a good excuse to go out and look. This is what I saw. She didn't care I took this photo, but certainly I didn't want to test my luck, so I kept with my business. Weird lady and noisy, but so far, a friendly neighbor."

Trying to give myself some more challenging animations to tackle SO a continuous walk cycle with some character acting. The music is there mainly to have something to time the pace of the walk and the acting to (and I think it just makes it feel more engaging than silence).

Was working on this back in January and thought I'd get back to it sooner than later but it's sat on my computer as roughs this whole time lmao. I DO want to get back to this and clean/color/comp it, there are just some technical things I gotta figure out with marrying the 2D and 3D that I haven't had a minute to investigate yet.
